CIELOS, DIGAN POR QUÉ || 2024

Cielos digan por qué es un relato a partir de fotografías de Claudia Bonder y textos de Diana Wang. Las fotos fueron tomadas en diferentes sitios de genocidios y matanzas. A través de un blanco y negro expresivo y radical nos sumergen en la oscuridad de lo innombrable. Los textos abren preguntas acerca de los modos y los fines de la representación de la crueldad. ¿Cómo construir imágenes, conceptos, reflexiones que nos permitan entender, metabolizar y, eventualmente, frenar todo ese horror?

CIELOS DIGAN POR QUÉ is a narrative built from photographs by Claudia Bonder and texts by Diana Wang. The photos were taken in various sites of genocides and massacres. Through expressive and radical black-and-white imagery, they plunge us into the darkness of the unspeakable.

The texts raise questions about the ways and purposes of representing cruelty.
How can we construct images, concepts, reflections that allow us to understand, process, and eventually stop all that horror?
