Do I need to remove my bumper cover to install this?

Yes. The reinforcement bar mounts behind the bumper cover, so you'll need to drop the cover first to access the factory mounting points. Once bolted in place, reinstall the cover and you're done.

Will this work if my bumper has sensor cutouts?

This reinforcement bar does not include sensor housing or bypass provisions. If your bumper has factory sensors, confirm they clear the reinforcement bar before final assembly, or work with the sensor harness routing during install.

Can I paint this before installation?

You can, but test-fit first to confirm mounting point clearance and alignment. If painting, sand and prime the mounting areas lightly to help fasteners grip. Paint after installation for a cleaner final result.
