The artwork on this garment was inspired by Mustaali Raj’s design of the watermelon as a symbol of resistance. He incorporated the design in a Tatreez embroidery pattern, paying homage to the preservation of the rich Palestinian heritage.  The embroidery itself on this garment is done by machine.
