Peter Kember, a founding member of the legendary psychedelic rock band Spacemen 3, released his first solo album "Spectrum" under the name Sonic Boom in 1990. After that, Spacemen 3 disbanded and all members except Peter formed Spiritualized. Peter then formed Spectrum and remained active until 2008. In E.A.R., which was active at the same time, Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine and Delia Derbyshire, a pioneer of electronic/experimental music, also participated. Peter Kenber, a true psychedelic rock giant who has worked as a producer for MGMT, Panda Bear (Animal Collective), and Beach House, and continues to shape modern psychedelia beyond time, has released a miraculous new album under the name Sonic Boom, his first in about 30 years.
