A bold single malt with a tropical twist, Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve has been finished in casks that previously held Caribbean rum. Aromas of pear, red apple, overripe bananas and sticky honey fill the nose, complemented by notes of caramel, toffee, pineapple and mango throughout the palate.

A tropical expression from The Glenlivet, for Caribbean Reserve a portion of the whisky was finished in casks which previously held Caribbean rum. The distillery folks suggest adding a splash of coconut water, though we reckon a malty twist on a Mai Tai is on the cards!

Tasting Notes

Nose : Sweet notes of pear and red apple meet a fabulous tropical twist of ripe bananas in syrup

Palate : Rich caramel toffee notes, followed by flavors of tropical fruits

Finish : Well balanced and exceptionally smooth
