The newly hatched Brine Shrimps are considered the best food source for all baby fish, when first hatched the Brine Shrimp larvae contain a nutritious yolk sac and they have the ability to survive in fresh water for up to 6 hours. These eggs must be hatched following the directions outlined below, do not feed the unhatched eggs to your fish.

This Premium product contains the highest hatching rate eggs that produce nauplii which are generally larger in size with more nutrition, if you wish to hatch smaller nauplii then we recommend the standard packs from our catalog. Hatching Instructions:

1. Use salt water or fresh water with salinity of 25-28 ppt
   
2. Use an air pump to blow oxygen
3. Add 1 teaspoon approximately per 300 fish fry
   
4. Optimum pH is 7.5 - 8.5
   
5. Density of eggs should not exceed 5g per liter
   
6. Water temperature 28° – 30° celsius
   
7. Incubation period for optimum hatching time is 24 - 36 hours
   
8. If water is cold it may take 36 - 48 hours
