For the 1982 collection Halston was strongly influence by the studded detailing that was so prevalent and swept the fashion world in the 1940s. He studded everything with flat silver or gold nail head studs including a range of butter soft suede like this one. The jacket is amazing with its loose blousing silhouette that would have perfectly topped his form fitting silhouettes. It also is special for its foray into color - Halston did not do bright colors often but when he did they were perfect. The sleeves are cut very loose and full and have a squared off dip to them before narrowing to the cuff - again a strong forties reference. It has no closures and is cut loose through the body. Around each cuff and completely around the edge and around both the back and beck are the silver flat studs with three sizes used and a varying pattern. I love it! Excellent condition

Fully lined in a black silky rayon. It has no closures. The slightest of grubbiness to the suede here and there but this adds to its vintage appeal. In clean, as found condition. A true deep pink in person.
