Constituted 8 January 1943 in the Army of the United States as the 41st Signal Construction Battalion Activated 25 January 1943 at Camp Forrest, Tennessee Reorganized and redesignated 14 May 1945 as the 41st Signal Light Construction Battalion Inactivated 7 December 1945 in Germany.
